Especially in a time where sex work was stigmatized even more than it is now, if you can believe it. I am grateful for the sacrifices she made and the lessons she taught me about hard work, dedication, and perseverance.
It’s hard to explain how motherhood has changed me, at my core. But it has given me a newfound appreciation for the strength and resilience of my own mother. Being a career woman and raising children is no easy task, but I am proud to be following in her footsteps. Thank you, Mom, for everything you did and continue to do for our family.
