The New Normal: Shooting During Covid

All of our lives have been on lockdown for months now. It's been nothing but tumbleweeds and silence in the world of porn production, that was, until this week. We received the green light to go back to set with handfuls of strenuous guidelines sent over from the FSC, as well as various independent production companies, all of them trying their best to create safe protocols for returning to work. Now you can type up safety regulations until the cows come home but there is always a chance for things to go wrong, so anyone agreeing to come to set will be assuming the risk of potential exposure to a virus we still don't know too much about.

With all that, we took all the suggested precautions needed. All of our crew members were tested at a reputable, industry-used testing facility with a 24 hour turnaround and came back negative for covid. Masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer were purchased and available on set for crew members. Food bought for set was individually packed, and surfaces, props, gears and bathrooms were sanitized regularly.

And our dear photo Queen, Holly was doing it all very pregnant! And on brand as usual, it took an army to get that woman to slow down, remember to take breaks and to drink water. She was out in the sun rigging, helping build sets, photographing and filming, all the while never complaining once. Also with a mask on the entire time! Talk about a trooper.

All in all the day was long but successful. It wasn't as taxing as we were anticipating, breathing through the masks and keeping up with sanitization. The fact we were out with access to vast open spaces and able to walk off to engage in some maskless, safe solitude was immensely helpful.

Our model, Jenna Foxx was FANTASTIC, the hard-working crew stepped it up with Holly being pregnant and the location and weather were that of a dream!
